A function for release of Library's four publications was
organized by the Library on the occasion of "World Book Day". Prof.
Shamshad Hussain, former Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Prof.
Sharfe Alam, former Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic &
Persian University and Mr. Shah Nawaz Khan, Member, Bihar Public Service
Commission participated as guests of honour and Justice Syed Shah Nayyar
Hussain of the Patna High Court presided. The books which were released
were entitled "Ganjinai Bazyafta Nau Daryaft / Prof. Asif Naim Siddiqui
2. Kalim Ajiz ki Nasar Nigari / Dr. Abul Hayat 3. Maqalat-i- Tibb / Dr.
Raziul Islam Nadvi 4. Manasibut Tawarikh / Prof. Talha Rizvi Burq.

A National Seminar on the theme "Revisiting of Works
of Manto" was organized by Sahyog
Social and Welfare Society in collaboration with Ministry of Culture
Govt. of India, N.C.P.U.L. New Delhi and Khuda Bakhsh Library, Patna. Mr. Ashraf Fareed and
Prof. Aslam Azad participated as
guests of honour and Prof. Lutfur Rahman, former Minister Minorities Welfare
Department, Govt. of Bihar presided.

Founder's Day was organized by the Library in memory of
the Founder of the Library Khan Bahadur Khuda Bakhsh. On this occasion
Quran Khwani, Gulposhi, Fatiha Khwani and Jalsa-i- Seerat were
organized. Maulana Abu Nasar Farooq was the main speaker in Jalsa-i-
Seeratun Nabi.
